Be-pression marks Banele Khoza’s first solo exhibition in Paris. The exhibition is the culmination of a two-week residency with Nil Gallery, during which Khoza questioned society’s almost phobic relationship to the present moment. Through his vaporous studies, Banele Khoza highlights and explores that paradox that inhabits the Y/Z generation, torn between nostalgia and the promise of better days.
